    Jordon is a skilled external affairs professional with extensive experience in policy development, process management, corporate communications and team leadership. He spent 8 years of his career at the Alberta Legislature, beginning his time in Edmonton as research officer for private government members, writing speeches, researching legislation and helping shepherd several bills through the legislative process. He then spent 3 years as the Executive Assistant to Premier Stelmach, responsible for providing daily briefings and strategic advice to the Premier. He then spent 2 years as the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Employment and Immigration, providing advice to the Minister on operational, policy, legislative, communications, budgetary and political matters. In 2011 Jordon left Government and began a successful 6-year career in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, leading the Government Relations teams at both BP Canada and Cenovus Energy.

    Liisa Tipman
    Project Manager Land Use @ Calgary Metropolitan Region Board

    Liisa is an experienced land use planner with a broad understanding of all facets of the planning process. Over her career, Liisa has become an expert in municipal policy development and long-range municipal planning. She has been a lead analyst and policy planner for numerous annexations, municipal development plans, growth studies and strategic planning sessions for urban and rural municipalities in Alberta, including in the Edmonton and Calgary regions.  She has also project managed industrial, institutional, natural resource, residential and mixed use development projects in municipalities across the province. After receiving her Masters of Environmental Design (Planning) from the University of Calgary in 2007, Liisa was employed with B&A Planning Group, a planning consulting firm, progressing to Associate in 2014. Her role as a planning project manager involved leading communications, engagement and approval processes for projects while considering the interests of clients, approving authorities, technical specialists, community groups and indigenous stakeholders.

    Jaime is an experienced environmental consultant providing project management expertise to multi-disciplinary teams for development and environmental management projects in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Northwest Territories.  Jaime has served clients in many sectors including federal, provincial and municipal levels of government, heavy rail, oil and gas, power, legal and real estate clients.  Jaime received a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. Prior to joining the CMRB, Jaime was with Golder Associates Ltd. for 16 years where she progressed through field engineer, project manager and project director roles.  Jaime was named an Associate at Golder in 2014.  Jaime maintains Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional designations from APEGA and the Project Management Institute, respectively.
